Fixing a Broken Kitchen

This kitchen was chopped up by circulation paths—leaving the refrigerator in another room!



Closing off access to the side door makes sense because it allows us to get wall space for cabinets, and countertop close to the refrigerator. The side stair was redundant anyway.

Opening up this wall connects the eating area and fills the kitchen with light and view to a future deck.
